He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Banville and Edna Banville (Gosselin); his wife Jeannine Rose Banville (Ledoux); his son Donald R.; his siblings, Richard Banville (Claire) and Esther Gorski (Peter); his siblings-in-law, Pat Banville and Joseph "Camille" Ledoux (Erline); and his godson Robert Ledoux.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis E. Banville (Lugene) of Chicopee and Debra A. Slysz (Skip) of South Hadley; his daughter-in-law Maricatheryn L. "Kay" Banville (Conlin) of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Kyle D. Banville (Kim), Ryan A. Banville (Mary Healy), Olivia R. Slysz and Emma L. Slysz; his great grandchild Nolan Banville; and his brother Raymond Banville of West Brookfield. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Saint Joan of Arc School, 587 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020 or to Sunshine Village, 75 Litwin Lane, Chicopee, MA 01020.
