He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Roy and Aurore Roy (Giroux); his siblings, Roger E. J. Roy, Rene A. Roy, Rita A. Sarad and Yvonne L. Benoit; and his nephew Steven P. Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy L. Roy (Warnock); his children, Deborah DeMarco (Russ) of South Hadley, Robert Barton of Chicopee and Melanie Buckley (James) of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Alyssa Santucci (Derek), Anthony DeMarco (Beth), Vanessa DeMarco, Matelynn, Sarah and Lilyanne Buckley; his great grandchildren, Eleanor Santucci, Oliver and Henry DeMarco; his brothers, Norman Roy (Barbara) of Holyoke and Donald Roy (Irene) of Chicopee; and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Roy of Warren, RI and Linda Roy of Chicopee. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Springfield Unit, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
