She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter and Bertha Galica (Sroka); her husband John W. Zamachaj; her sons, David Zamachaj (Natalia) of Milford, CT and Richard Zamachaj of Yarmouthport; her grandsons, Alexander Zamachaj (Jessica) and Peter Zamachaj (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Madeleine; her sister Helen Dobosz; her sister-in-law Angela Przybylowicz (Nell); her daughter-in-law Melody Zamachaj; her granddaughter Katie Lee Zamachaj; and her siblings, Anne Ogulewicz, Mary Mokrzycki, Joseph and Stanley Galica. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
