We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2024, at the age of 90, Eleanor A. (Swords) Weeks (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter P. Swords and Hazel A. Swords (Smith); her significant other Franklin A. Weeks; her grandson Franklin Michael Bartlett; and her brothers, William W. Swords (Dorothy) and Robert B. "Skip" Swords.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel M. Weeks (Donna) of Longs, SC, Alan P. Weeks of Chicopee, Michael J. Weeks (Gail) of Chicopee, Patricia A. Courchesne of Northampton and Mary E. Goulette (Andrew LeBlanc) of Southwick; her son-in-law David P. Courchesne of Chicopee; and her sister-in-law Patricia Swords of Westfield. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Her family request s that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Suite 200, Bethesda, MD 20814.
