He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen and Sophia Gaj (Ziemba); his wife Irene Ora Gay (Lavallee); his children, Susan M. Gay (Charles) of Belchertown and Michael T. Gay (Mary) of Chicopee; his grandsons, Alan M. Roberts (Karen) of Belchertown, David R. Roberts (Melissa) of Chicopee and Michael T. Gay, Jr. (Gina) of Chicopee; his great grandchildren, Ian Roberts, Justin Roberts, Emily Roberts, Leo Roberts, Lila Roberts and Carter Gay; and his brothers, Rudy Gay (Rose) of Chicopee, Herman, Frank, Walter, Ted and Adam Gay. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
