She was predeceased by: her parents, Camille Gosselin and Evelyn Gosselin (Beauchemin); her husband Edward J. Cygan; her son-in-law John Sawyer; and her sister Yvonne R. Bienvenue.

She is survived by: her children, Robert E. Cygan (Diane) of Chicopee, Deborah E. Sawyer (Richard) of Chicopee and Patricia L. Sawyer of Suffield, CT; her grandchildren, Cynthia L. Newsome (Jedd), Thomas R. Cygan (Kelly), Renee L. Suckau (Michael), Brandon R. Sawyer (Kate), Bryan J. Sawyer (Jordan Marquis) and Rebekah L. Sawyer (Adam Paradis); her great grandchildren, James, Hailey, David, Hannah Newsome, Ethan and Owen Cygan; and her sister-in-law Helen Banas of Chicopee.

Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Stanislaus School, 534 Front Street, Chicopee, MA 01013.
