She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur M. Gosselin and Rena A. Gosselin (Chapdelaine); her husband Francis X. "Frank" Desmarais, Jr.; and her siblings, Norman Gosselin, Jeannette Desjardins and Irene Richards.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie A. Leclerc (Paul) of Chicopee, Dennis R. Desmarais (Linda) of Chicopee, Janice M. McDonald of Spirit Lake, IA and Gerald F. Desmarais (Mary) of North Adams; her grandchildren, Mark Leclerc (Angi), Darleen Garneau (Michael), Dawn Fialli (Robert), Jennifer Patkoske (Michael), Christopher Desmarais (Catherine), Adam Desmarais (Jacque), Heather Griffin (Ian), Emily Rabinsky (Mark), Molly, Logan McDonald and William Desmarais; and her sister-in-law Joan LeBlanc (Norman) of Vero Beach, FL. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; her three cherished great-great-grandchildren.
