Doris B. (Bernier) Brodeur Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris B. (Bernier) Brodeur of Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ovide Bernier and Alexina Bernier (Bergeron); her husband Joseph J. Brodeur; and her son-in-law James Whelihan. She is survived by: her children, David O. Brodeur (Lisa) of Chicopee, Thomas A. Brodeur (Sharon) of Rockland and Anne Marie Whelihan of Chicopee; her grandchildren, Reesha Brodeur Waldron (Lonnie Waldron), Sarah King (David), Brandon Hunter (Karyn Brower), Frank Hunter, Nicole Brodeur (Alex Payne), Andrew Brodeur (Jessica), Rachel Brodeur, Nathaniel and Brittany Whelihan; her great grandchildren, Amira Waldron, Parker, Kensington King and Elias Hunter; and her sister-in-law Peggy Brodeur of New Jersey. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Her burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (please note that masks are required, social distancing must be observed and funeral home and Church capacity is limited due to state regulations).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Saint Joan of Arc School, 587 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
