She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Leahy and May E. Leahy (Nichols); her husband Paul L. Surprenant; her siblings, William Leahy and Muriel Hunter; and her brothers-in-law, James W. "Jim" Surprenant and John R. Surprenant.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel P. "Dan" Surprenant (Sarah) of Chicopee and Rebecca M. "Becky" Morin (Michael) of Chicopee; her grandsons, D. J., Andrew Surprenant, Jacob and Joshua Morin; her sister Laura Scribner of South Hadley; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Leahy of Chicopee, Dennis H. Surprenant (Debbie) of Feeding Hills, Linda S. Garcia (Alberto "Beto" Garcia) of Annapolis, MD, Jeanne M. Modzanowski (John Modzanowski) of Feeding Hills and Diane M. Peters (Michael "Mike" Peters) of Feeding Hills. She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
