He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Syriac and Irene E. Syriac (Bachand); his wife Louise A. Syriac (Pope); his brother Lawrence L. Syriac; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Lambert, Fred Blair and Bonnie Mulrooney (Kevin).
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Syriac (Felicia Hyde) of Chicopee and John Syriac of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Roy Syriac (Bianca), Ashley Syriac and Dennis Syriac; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Miles; his siblings, Raymond Syriac (Terry) of Wilbraham and Bernice Lambert of Florida; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Syriac (Shepherd) of Springfield. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Knights of Columbus Fairview Council 4044 Scholarship Fund, 1599 Memorial Drive, Chicopee, MA 01020.
