As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard William Mahar. He is survived by: his mother Denise I. Mahar (Lefebvre) of Chicopee; his daughters, Stefania Dalton (Cooper) of Chicopee and Alissa Mahar of Ludlow; his siblings, Edward Mahar (Robin) of Chicopee, Sharon Martin (Christopher) of Chicopee and Christine Fimbel (Thomas); and his former wife Sherry Shevlin (Shawn) of Ludlow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and three beloved cats.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home (280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A prayer was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
