He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sr. Koontz and Sylvia Koontz (Thibault); his sister Teresa Ventris; and his great-niece Olivia Koontz. He is survived by: his daughters, Krystal and Erika Koontz; and his siblings, Wanda Cote (Gerard), Lynn Koontz, Kenneth Koontz, Jr. (Lea), Tina Buel (David), Patricia Liardi and Jacqueline Ferrier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's name may be made to the American Heart Association or the MSPCA.
