He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward and Jeannette. He is survived by: his sisters, Elvia DeCaro of Chicopee and Daniela DeCaro of Boylston; and his nephew Wesley Dyson of Chicopee.

He was a parishioner of St. Rose de Lima Church and volunteered his time with charity drives at the Castle of Knights for the Knights of Columbus.
