He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bertha Sakowicz (Wojick) and Joseph Sakowicz; his former wife Florence (Whitaker); his children, Gary (Geri), David (Shirley) and Sandra Laude (Paul); his former wife Katherine (Sliva-Gates); his wife Kathleen (Stoudenmeyer); his stepson John Gates; his grandchildren, Laura, Rebecca, Debby, Jennifer, Jeff, Taml, Christina and Michael; and his stepgranddaughter Gail. He was also cherished by 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
