It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn (Chappell) A Murphy (Chicopee, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Chappell and Anna Belle Chappell (Hollowell); her siblings, William Chappell and Annette Porter; and her boyfriend Robert Schabowski.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth J. Murphy, III of Brattleboro, VT, Gail Drewniak (Paul) of Chicopee, Dorene Murphy (Patrick Burns) of Springfield, Joanne Murphy-Hollins (Charles) of Springfield and Carleen Bishop (Chris) of Chicopee; her siblings, Thomas Chappell, Paul Chappell (Marilyn) and Everleen Tollinger; her grandchildren, Kate Drewniak Guzman (Julian), Joseph Drewniak (Angie), Michael LePage (Tess), Samantha Bishop, Colton Murphy, Matthew LePage (Thea), Lauren Murphy, Charles Hollins and Haley Hollins; and her great grandchild Autumn Drewniak.
