He is survived by: his significant other Sharon Ney (Mazur); his parents, Robert Ney and Maureen Ney of West Hartford; his sister Alison Ney (Kapil Kachru) of Boston; his siblings-in-law, Stacia Stepanik (Donald) and Stanley Mazur (Christina); and his niece Samantha Stepanik of Feeding Hills. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
