He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvaro Cacapo and Sazaltina Cacapo (Ferreira); his wife Judy Cacapo (Young); and his siblings, Jose (Goncalves) and Felicidade Goncalves.
He is survived by: his daughter Marisa Carpenter (Wayne Carpenter); and his grandsons, Joshua and Joseph of Chicopee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
