He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie E. Sr. Burns and Julia Burns (Papiersky); his children, Julie Burns and Steven Burns; his siblings, Francis Burns and Carlene Burns; and his pet Missy Boo.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Burns (Smith) of Chicopee; his children, Michael Burns (Gayla), Teresa Burns (Michael Schaefer) of Clinton, CT, Jacqueline Burns of Kissimmee, FL, Andrew Burns of Chicopee, Allan Burns of Chicopee and Tammy Burns of Kissimmee, FL; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Steve, Jr. (Cindy), Krystle, Sylvia (Nicholas) and Heather (Anthony). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Brunelle Funeral Home (811 Chicopee St, Chicopee, MA 01013).
