She was predeceased by: her parents, June Boisvert (Rich) and Thomas E. Boisvert, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Michael J. Messier of Enfield, CT and John P. Messier of Virginia; her brothers, Jay E. Boisvert (Diane) of Indian Orchard and Thomas E. Boisvert, Jr. of Heath, MA; and her grandchildren, Katelyn, Samantha, Kris and Katheran. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in April's name can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
