She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonardo Pereira and Maria Pereira (Carvalho); her husband Joaquim Carreira; and her siblings, Anthony, Joseph, Marie and Ezaro Pereira.
She is survived by: her children, Fernando Carreira (Cheryl) of Southwick, Armando Carreira (Kathleen) of Florida and Luiza Hopkins (James "Jim") of Brimfield. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren along with many extended family members and friends.
