He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Bower and Adela Bower (Gliwski); and his brother James Bower II. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Barbara Bower of Manakin Sabot, VA; his nephews, James Bower III (Tamara) of Gainesville, VA and Sean Bower (Erin) of Boulder, CO.; and his cousin Barbara Spinks of Westfield.
