We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2021, at the age of 74, Alice I. (Roy) Hamel of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E. Roy and Doris A. Roy (Dupont); her husband Armand P. Hamel; her brother George Roy; and her brother-in-law Eugene Beauregard.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen R. Roy (David) of Belchertown, Nora J. Hamel of Virginia Beach, VA, David A. Heroux (Elizabeth) of Granby, Miriam A. Gennari (Paul) of Arlington, VA, Joseph P. Hamel (Michelle) of West Springfield and Michael P. Hamel (Megan) of Middletown, CT; her grandchildren, Justin Roy (Kate), Madelynn, Olivia Heroux, Teresa, Briana Rusin, Rose Gennari, Mason, Karsen, Brandon, Brooklyn and Brylee Hamel; her great grandchildren, Adryan and Aubrey Roy; her brothers, Clarence Roy (Connie) of Chicopee, Reverend Robert Roy and Pastor of Saint Michael Church; and her sisters-in-law, Pauline Beauregard of Chicopee, Irene Gonneville (Marc) of Chicopee and Jeannette Boulerice (Dennis) of Chicopee. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
