He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard A. McKinstry and Florence McKinstry (Chapin); his wife Lorena Belle (Densmore); his son John Kenneth; and his siblings, Mary White and Warren McKinstry.
He is survived by: his children, Willard A. McKinstry II (Nicole) of Chicopee, Ruth Klopfer of Rocky Hill, CT, Barbara Langill (Jeff) of Lynnfield, MA and Margaret "Peg" McKinstry (Gary Clark) of Westfield, MA.; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Will, Warren McKinstry, Katie Snow, John Klopfer, Laura Thomas, Beth Murphy, Nathan Auger, James Langill and Alyssa Langill; and his great grandchildren, James, Daniel, Luke Murphy and Anna Auger. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
