She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Kapinos and Mary Kapinos (Bogacz); her husband Joseph J. Kumiega; her son-in-law Henry Mazur, Jr.; her grandson Michael Mazur; and her brother Chester Karcz.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Theriault (Paul) of Chicopee, Joanne Mazur of Chicopee and James Kumiega (Francine) of Chicopee; her grandsons, Joseph Theriault (Shawn) of South Hadley and Mason Kumiega of Chicopee; and her sister Fidelia Sojkowski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
