He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sally Goodman (Wiener); his children, David, Aga Goodman of Wayland, Jennifer, Bill Zola of Boston, Andrew and Lisa Goodman of Wayland; his grandchildren, Michael, Joshua Goodman, Caroline, Abigail Zola, Kate and James "Jamie" Goodman; and his siblings, Esther Levensohn and Marion Goodman.
