He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Glugeth and Sophie Glugeth of Arlington; his brother Edward; his nephew Dr. Gary Dickerman (Wilma) of Lexington; and his great-nephew Evan Glugeth.

He is survived by: his wife Madeline Stone Glugeth; his siblings, Rose, Esther, Lillian and Harold Glugeth; his nephews, Arthur (Diane Dickerman) and Roger (Naomi Glugeth); his niece Cheryl (Robin Sampson); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dr. Lauren Dickerman, Todd Handel of Newton, Carey, Carmel Dickerman, Andrew, Erin Dickerman, Jessica, Matt Greenberger, Jared, Casey Glugeth, Samantha and Michael Dorfman; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce D'Amico of Newton and Barbara Kabot of Newton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute or Beth Israel Hospital Cardiology Department.
