He is survived by: his wife Margaret Allen Murphy of Chestnut Hill; his son Raymond Murphy (Janet) of Falmouth, MA; his grandchildren, Meghan, Erin and Caitlyn Murphy; his daughter Ann Postell of Roseville, CA; his grandchildren, Ken, Erica and Matthew Postell; his children, Michael Murphy of New York City and Maureen Olsen (Doug) of Medfield, MA; his grandchildren, Maggie Olsen and Anya Olsen-Brunot (Michael); his daughter Alice Murphy of Wellesley, MA; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Cameron and Alexander Stathos; his son Matthew Murphy of Hingham; his grandchildren, Christopher and Catherine Murphy; and his brother T. Jefferson Murphy.
