He is survived by: his wife Margot Gerrity Finley; his children, John Huston Finley IV, Carl Stanley "Stan" McGee, Charlotte Finley Maynard and Samuel Wallace Finley; his grandchildren, Samantha West Maynard, Charles Mathes Maynard (Magdalena Taft Maynard), Eloise Hendry Finley, John Harry Finley (Samuel Wallace Finley, Jr.), Magdalena Greenslet Finley and John H. Finley, Jr.; and his sister Corinna Finley Hammond. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
