It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Murphy Sr. in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murphy and Viola Murphy (Wenig); his wife Marian J. Murphy (Aras); and his siblings, James, Kenneth Murphy and Janice Desroches.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Murphy Jr. (Melody) of Chicopee, James Murphy (Barbara) of Bedford, Martin Murphy of Ludlow, Neal Murphy (Vanessa) of Selden, NY and Julie Murphy of Chicopee; and his sister June Wiegel of Ludlow. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
