He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Skiba and Julia Skiba (Grzanka); his wife Helen E. Skiba (Luszcz); and his siblings, Stella Biernat, Ann Wrona, Max and Ted Skiba.
He is survived by: his children, Gary E. Skiba (Kathy) of Asheville, NC, Ronald J. Skiba (Marti) of Chicopee, Elaine M. Skiba of Berlin, MA, Daniel T. Skiba (Linda) of Milton and Thomas M. Skiba (Libby) of Hopkinton; his grandchildren, Eric, Brian, Tara, Robert, Amy, Michael, Shauna, Ryan, Stephanie, Nick and Kylie; and his great grandchildren, Colson, Everett, Dani, Jackie and Camden. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
