He is survived by: his children, Marianne Walsh (John) of Sandwich, Catherine Downing of Quincy, Paul Downing (Cheryl) of Taunton, Michael Downing (Wendy) of Whitinsville and Roberta Downing of Nashua, NH; his siblings, Theresa Stegall of Dedham, Beverly O'Rourke of Colorado and Mary Linscott of Colorado; and his grandchildren, Edward, John, Michelle, Rachel, Kayla, Thomas and Mathew. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
