She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Fireman and Louise Fireman (Grover); and her brother Robert Neil Fireman (Ellen). She is survived by: her son Adam Markell (Rose Markell); and her granddaughter Sara Markell.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to ILD Clinical and Translational Research Fund at Massachusetts General Hospital to support the ongoing work of Dr. Robert Hallowell and his colleagues.
