He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Berkowitz (Levine) and Jack Berkowitz; and his sister Charlotte Gustin. He is survived by: his wife Murielle Berke (Michaud); his sons, Eric (Sheryl) and Peter (Patty); and his grandchildren, Aron (Garam), Jeremy (Devika), Hana and Carly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
