He was predeceased by: his siblings, Almon F. Dirth Sr., Fred A. Dirth, Paul Dirth, Malcolm Dirth, Marian Dirth, Gladys Dirth and Frances Dirth. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust, 1561 Old Keene Road, Athol, MA 01331.
