She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Sainio (Kaukonen) and Arvo Sainio; her siblings, Veikko Sainio and Ann Marie Sainio; her niece Sharen Engwer; and also George Avery.
She is survived by: her husband Burton Macia (Poppy); her niece Karen Avery; her great-niece Kiirsten Cooper; her great-nephew Erik Pedersen (Suzie Pedersen); and also, Aliisa Cooper Mazaik (Mike Mazaik), Nicholas Cooper, Shane Cooper, Christopher Pedersen and Ava.
