He is survived by: his wife Eileen Pietrzyk; his children, Eric Whitney (Michelle) of Cheshire and Elise Minassian (Varant) of Suffield, CT; his grandchildren, Olivia, Sage Whitney, Ellara and Naeva Minassian; and his brothers, Michael Whitney (Carolyn) of Cheshire and Jay Whitney of Cheshire. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
