He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Joppich and Marie "Peanie" Joppich. He is survived by: his children, Trevor Joppich and Heather Joppich-Lines; his grandchildren, Lillian Joppich, Andrew Joppich and Cyrus Lines; and his siblings, Paul Joppich, Joseph Joppich and Karen Luczynski.
