With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Thomas of Cheshire, Massachusetts, born in Pownal, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Holland (Walden) and Arthur Holland; his son Harold Thomas; and his brothers, Daniel Thomas, Andrew Holland, William Holland and Arthur Holland.
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Kittler; his daughters, Bonnie Deraway (Doots) of Clarksburg, Marcia Moon of North Adams, Terri Lee (Ray) of Texas, Melissa Sweener (John) of Stephentown, NY and Stacy Blanchard (Jeff) of Tennessee; his stepchildren, Kelly Roberts (Jake) of Hancock, Michael King (Tracy) of Cheshire and Peter King (Sue) of Cheshire; and his sister Laura Hartman of North Adams. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
