With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gaetana Ruggiero of Cheshire, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 15, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Mazzeo and Angela Rosa Arace Mazzeo; and her son-in-law Salvatore DeMarinis. She is survived by: her husband Pasquale G. Ruggiero; her daughters, Patrizia DeMarinis of Naples and Laura Thurston (Jim) of Cheshire, MA.; her siblings, Michele Mazzeo (Maria) of Cairano, Italy and Maria Teresa Mazzeo (Michael) of Pittsfield, MA; her grandchildren, Luca DeMarinis and Jessica DeMarinis (Alfredo Gaglione); and her great grandchildren, Connor Thurston and Delaney Thurston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
