It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Sumner of Cheshire, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elsie Sumner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Azzo Bona and Esther Graziani Bona; her husband George C. "Carl" Sumner; and her sisters, Agnes LaRoche and Marie Joppich.
She is survived by : her children, Gary P. Sumner (Jessica) of Conroe, TX and Cindy A. Gajda (Gary) of Cheshire, MA; her grandchildren, Cara Albuquerque (Edward), Kristin Sandstedt (Kory), Gary Sumner (Natalie) and Ashley Sumner; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Alana Albuquerque, Noah and Luke Sandstedt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Mary of the Assumption or to Cheshire Fire or Cheshire Police Departments in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
