She was predeceased by: her parents, Azzo Bona and Esther Graziani Bona; her husband George C. "Carl" Sumner; and her sisters, Agnes LaRoche and Marie Joppich.
She is survived by: her children, Gary P. Sumner (Jessica) of Conroe, TX and Cindy A. Gajda (Gary) of Cheshire, MA; her grandchildren, Cara Albuquerque (Edward), Kristin Sandstedt (Kory), Gary Sumner (Natalie) and Ashley Sumner; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Alana Albuquerque, Noah and Luke Sandstedt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Mary of the Assumption or to Cheshire Fire or Cheshire Police Departments in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
