With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane H. Freitag of Cheshire, Massachusetts, born in Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Diane H. Freitag to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Armine F. Heinz and Helen A. Heinz (Paciorek); her husband Martin P Freitag; her son James M. Freitag; and her brother Armine F. Heinz, Jr..

She is survived by : her daughters, Sue Burke (John Burke) of Big Sky and Sheri Lancaster of Adams; her grandchildren, Brecken Burke, Aspen Burke and Emily Lancaster; her nephew Stefan Heinz; her niece Ingrid Adams; and her cousin Irene Ferrari of Adams. She is also survived by several other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, 214 Barker Rd. Pittsfield, MA 01201.
