It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire E. Wood of Cheshire, Massachusetts, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Simeon W. Wood; and her parents, Thomas J. Curtin, Jr. and Margaret M.. She is survived by: her siblings, Margaret Holt of Texas, Thomas J. Curtin of Ohio, Leo F. Curtin (Patty), Rita J. Bator (late Henry) and Theresa A. St. Jacques (Louie); her children, Stephen Wood, Christopher Wood (Norah) and Kathryn Houghtlin (Gary); and her great grandchildren, Leyah Brown, Finn Burroughs-Wood, Brady Wood and Collin Wood.
In lieu of flowers, Claire wishes for gifts in her memory to go to St. Jude's or the Shriners.
