She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Homer and Alice Bennett (Brayman); her son Arthur Edward LaFountain; her grandson Michael Lavigne; and her siblings, Wayne Bennett, Roy Bennett, Priscilla O'Neil and Patricia Brayman (Gerald Burke).
She is survived by: her daughter Terri LaFountain of Cheshire, MA; her grandchildren, Arthur, Alice, Alicia, Michaela, Seth and Daniel; and her siblings, Helen Johnson, Rose Bassett of North Adams and Paul Bennett. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
