He was predeceased by: his wife Therese M. Melanson (Richardson). He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Barbara and Steven Oxley of Lynn; his daughter Elizabeth Melanson (Lynn Guerra) of Lynn; and his stepson Joseph Simard (Brittany) of New Hampshire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
