He was predeceased by: his parents, George Moynihan and Ruby F. Moynihan (Young); and his brother Dennis Archdeacon. He is survived by: his wife Shawneen R. Moynihan; his daughters, Erin Moynihan of Revere and Kerry Ciampoli (Brian) of Saugus; his grandchildren, Owen Thomas Ciampoli and Emilia Ciampoli; and his siblings, Colleen Moynihan of Warwick, RI, Dennis Moynihan (Carol) of Revere, Michael (Elaine Archdeacon), Kevin (Nancy Archdeacon), Brian (Karen Archdeacon) and James (Susan Archdeacon). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers; Should friends desire, contributions in his memory may be made to Division of Allergy and Immunology, Boston Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Fegan 6, Boston, MA 02115.

“Tom and I were boyhood friends on Summit Ave (Chelsea). As young kids I remember playing board games with him and his aunt Estelle at their house. Tom was a tough kid. We were in the Boy Scouts back in the mid 60's. Last time I saw Tom was likely around 1975, when I moved out of Chelsea. Sorry for your loss. Dennis Robitaille (123 Summit Ave)”
