She was predeceased by: her parent Adolph Parrotta; and her husband James T. McCarthy. She is survived by: her parent Mary Parrotta (Gembarska); her daughters, Diane Shai (Joseph) of Chelsea and Erin Stevens; her grandchild Joseph O'Connell; and her great grandchildren, Dylan O'Connell, Jack O'Connell and Gianni Noel.
