We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2024, at the age of 87, Joseph P. Delaney Sr. of Chelsea, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel L., Sr. and Sarah Ann Delaney (Clancy); and his brother Daniel L. Delaney, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, Joseph P. Delaney, Jr. (Michelle) of Brooklyn, CT and Erin Delaney Polos (Peter) of Basking Ridge, NJ.; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Katherine, Ava Polos, Patrick and Sarah Delaney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe's name may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Chapel, 100 Summit Ave., Chelsea.
