He was predeceased by: his parents, Ines S. Barbosa Martins and Manuel Lopes Martins. He is survived by: his children, Catibela Bela Martins of Rhode Island, Nelson Martins of Rhode Island and Antonio Martins of Rhode Island; and his siblings, Maria Emanuela Delgado, Audelisa Brito, Vera Lucia Barbosa Martins, Andrea Martins, Paulo Barbosa Martins, Antonio Lucas Barbosa Martins and Carlos Albert Barbosa Martins. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
