He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Vargus and Joan A. Vargus (Thornell); and his father-in-law Gerald Tucker of Medford. He is survived by: his spouse Kim Vargus (Tucker); his children, Rachelle Heckman (Paul) of Saugus, Dennis Vargus of Chelsea and Justine Vargus (Jake Patti) of Chelsea; his grandson Nickolas Heckman; his brother William Vargus of East Boston; his mother-in-law Lorraine Tucker; his siblings-in-law, Stephanie Kent of Everett and Geoffrey Tucker (Jodie) of Leominster; and his close friends, Joe, Danielle Szalkowski of Chelsea, Randy and Lorraine Ladderbush of Saugus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately and for those who wish, in lieu of flowers, may honor Dennis' memory by making a contribution in his name to Care Dimensions Hospice House, 125 Winter St., Lincoln, MA 01773.
