She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Luis Castro and Elvira Velasquez of Castro; her son Alejandro E. Guirola; and her brother Freddy Castro. She is survived by: her children, Lissett Estevez (Eric) and Sally Scribner (Jay); her siblings, Juan Castro, Esperanza Castro, Vilma Castro, Gladys Castro, Carlos Castro, David Castro and Elvirita Arevalo; and her grandchildren, Jaylen and Leyla Scribner. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
